The new staff that had been managing Cavallino Matto (Castagneto, Donoratico, Livorno – Italy) since season 2006 wants to change rides and park style in few seasons. After the building in 2006 of new rides, Parksmania got some info about the new ride for the 2007 season.
First of all, it should be the new Buccaneer’s Creek area, that will be the first area of this kind for the Italian amusement.
The area will contain an SBF ride based on Buccaneers theme. Guests will take place in vehicles that will be themed as barrel. Every barrel will host 4 guests. On-board water cannons (4 for barrel, one for each rider) allow participants to fight against other guests. To allow more people to have fun and to become a more realistic ride, a number of shore-based water cannons allow spectators to join in the fun by firing water at riders on barrels.
As you can see in the artwork that we have been authorized to publish, the area will contain an old pirates ship, an octopus ride and other interesting attractions.
Construction works should start in December. Concepts are made by Ozlab, the same company that made the "Peter Pan area" in Fiabilandia and "Funnyland" in Aqualandia.
It seems the park will get a new mascotte. As soon as we will receive more information, we will publish it..
