That area will have a new path system, wide spaces and the Pirates’theme, following the improvement trend chosen by the owner in 2007: new attractions and redevelpment of the different areas with new important scenery.
The Pirates’area will present new attractions: a teacup style ride (barrel-shaped), a baby shoot, a drop tower, a merry-go-round, a children playground, and a themed restaurant. The Pirates’Galleon has been recently renewed and there will be a main street with some attractions “arcade”. The pink fairy castle will be redecorated like a pirates’fort.
Massimiliano Freddi, park director, says: “We will open the new area for the 40th birthday of the park and it will only the first step of new improvements scheduled for the next 4 years in order to go on with the great growth (+ 20% attendance in 2010) of these last years”.
