The long-awaited event by the amusement parks is coming! The PARKSMANIA AWARDS are at their 10th edition and to give prominence to that event the selected location is the most important Italian park: Gardaland, the 10th of December, 2011.
The morning and the afternoon will be dedicated to the round table of the sector – entrance by invitation at the conference room of the Gardaland Hotel. During that meeting the representatives of amusement parks will be able to exchange ideas, opinions and considerations about the last season and the future of the sector. At 6.00 p.m. there will be the ceremony/show of the Awards at the Palaraptor – free entrance.
In few days the nominations will be announced. The Awards are “Park of the year”, “Best new attraction”, “Best indoor show” and some Awards to special initiatives.
Concerning the European parks the Awards are “European park of the year”, “Best European event” and this year, exceptionally for the 10th edition of the Parksmania Awards, there will be a third European Award, the “Best European attraction”.
During the day at the GARDALAND PARK there will be the Parksmania Club Winter Meeting, reserved to the members of the Italian association of amusement parks fans, with a special guest: Giorgio Tauber, Gardaland park director during the first 20 years of activity (1975-1995).
