Skara Sommarland’s season premiere on 30th May 2009 will also be inauguration day forTranan – a brand new type of roller coaster. It’s the world’s first of its kind and cannot be found anywhere else on the planet. Tranan , manufactured in the US, has cars suspended on the outside of the rails. Riders hang freely in the air and this is howthe flying sensation is created. “Tranan signifies the starting shot for the new Skara Sommarland, with adrenalin-pumping wacky wet or daring dry experiences for everyone!

Tranan constitutes a big investment for us, and we believe that it will rapidly become a hot favorite among our younger and older guests alike,” says Magnus Wetterö, President of Skara Sommarland.
