In the ring°werk, the 15,000 square metre leisure park where everything revolves around the legend, motor racing and mobility, you can experience the world of the Nürburgring with all your senses. Every visitor to the ring°werk feels like a racing driver – whether a big or a small child, a family member or a business partner. Into the steep bend at double the acceleration of a Formula 1 car, from your cinema seat feel the 24 hour race flow through every fibre in your body, test your knowledge of the Nürburgring in the ring°akademie – the whole family gets their money’s worth in the ring°werk. Action aplenty in the simulators and rides, a wealth of expertise on motors and mobility, the fascination of the Green Hell – a visit here is both exciting and varied. And lasts around five hours, is covered over and open all year round. The many individual attractions are so cleverly combined that after only a few seconds the visitor too becomes a racing driver. 24hr race in 4D

Welcome to the biggest motor racing event in the world – the legendary 24 hour race. Become a member of a racing team yourself in a huge theme cinema. Polarised glasses and digital 3D latest generation film technology make it possible. Take off into the fourth dimension: when the engines start, your cinema seat shakes. Are you ready to race round the legendary Nordschleife? (duration 15min)

Historical exhibition – eight decades of motor racing

This historical exhibition takes you on a unique journey through more than eight decades of motor racing on the Nürburgring. Valuable exhibits such as the first car to win a race on the Nürburgring dating back to 1927 will thrill not only vintage car fans. They are supplemented by information, text and photographic material from the different decades – presented in the most comprehensive digital collection ever prepared on the Nürburgring. Fascinating racing history down to the last detail.

ring°racer

This will take your breath away: Formula 1 feeling in the fastest coaster in the world. Start on the trip of your life, parallel to the start and finishing line of the Nürburgring Grand Prix track: with your adrenalin pumping and your heart pounding. The light changes to green and in less than 2.5 seconds you accelerate to 217 km/h. Double the acceleration of a Formula 1 driver in the same space of time. A steep bend catapults the cars upwards and back into the ring°boulevard. From a dizzy height – just below the ceiling – you return to the station.

Multi-Media-Theater „Grüne Hölle” (Green Hell)

Green Hell up close – a visit to this multimedia theatre brings alive the history of the Nordschleife so that you can experience it with all your senses. It all started with the construction of the unique Nordschleife through the thick forests of the Hocheifel more than 80 years ago. The birth of legends, fighters and winners, the great races of the 1950s and 1960s, Niki Lauda’s accident – milestones of history. Goose pimples guaranteed, no matter what age you are.

Motor Mania

Interactive fun for big and small motor racing fans alike. Set off on a trip through a crazy world of motor racing in XXL format. Your mission: aim your petrol nozzle at the many different light spots and in this way assemble the parts for your dream car. But be careful:
there are distractions and a lot of surprises around every corner. An interactive theme trip such as you’ve never seen before.

test°center

You walk through an engine to get into the laboratory which allows you to get to the bottom of the secrets of the automotive industry. What can help reduce CO2? What do modern chassis need to achieve and what are the benefits of electric drive power? How can better performance be achieved at the same time as reduced consumption? Explore this interactive exhibition on the basic principles of technology – there are bound to be some enlightening moments.

“Nürbus Eifel tour” – the fastest promotional trip in the world

Take your seat: this trip in a panorama bus from the 1950s takes you on a virtual, guided panorama tour through the idyllic Eifel. Needless to say, things take a different course from originally planned. The promotional trip becomes a racing trip over the holy asphalt of the Nordschleife during the 1,000 km race. This is made possible by a cave projection – the first ever realized in Germany – which puts the observer at the heart of a veritable deluge of images. A sensational illusion and a great experience for all age groups. Hold tight!

Truck Grand Prix

Didn’t you always want to get behind the wheel of a big truck? You now have the opportunity to do so. Take your seat in the big racing truck and steer it round the demanding course, as if during the Grand Prix. But before you can take up the challenge, you first have to win the qualifying at your own terminal against your competitors. The latest in simulation technology makes this unique racing pleasure possible.

Meet the greatest heroes in the more than 80-year history of the Nürburgring – up close and life-size. They made the Ring the legend it is and now wait for you to take a souvenir photo.

ring°akademie

A challenge for all those who want to test their knowledge of motor racing. The motto is: finger on the buzzer…ready…go! Join in the quiz. It’s simply good fun. You don’t have to be a motor racing professional to win. In the Jeder gegen Jeden (Every Man for Himself) game quick reactions also count. At the end of the round of questions the outright winner can bask in the limelight and appears on the huge screen.

“Formula 1 Grand Prix”

What is it like in the pits during a race, how are the sensitive racing cars transported and what technology is behind the Formula 1 cars? Follow in Bernie Ecclestone’s tracks and discover almost all the secrets. Try out in the wind channel what effect even the smallest changes have on the racing cars, or test your speed in a pit stop in the Pit Stop Show. A tyre change and a fill-up at top speeds. The children too can get their first touch of driving here. As a reward they can even look forward to their first driver’s licence with photograph!

Playstation Area

Into the Fuchsröhre at 180, brake, steer and accelerate … - the most successful motor sport simulation in the world is coming home. In the Playstation Area the “King of the Ring” is crowned. On a total of six Gran Turismo 5 racing seats – realistically positioned on a replica Nordschleife bend – the players can not only race against each other, but also watch each other at the same time. Or be watched – because fans, friends and family get their money’s worth here too.

Take a little bit of ring°werk home with you. In the spacious shopping area you will find everything a fan could wish for – from the ring°racer shirt to the high-quality models of legendary Nürburgring vehicles. By the way – the shopping area can also be accessed from outside without a ring°werk ticket.

Boxenstopp (Pit Stop) Restaurant

Motor racing works up an appetite. The Boxenstopp restaurant with its wide range of tasty dishes at family-friendly prices will not only fill you up, it is also a lot of fun. A large children’s play area spread over two floors and equipped with balls, slides and a soft play area makes sure of that.
