SKARA SOMMARLAND’S ROLLER COASTER NAMED BEST IN THE WORLD Skara Sommarland's fabulous new roller coaster, The Crane, was awarded first prize at the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Attractions Expo 2009 in Las Vegas. The Crane was named Newcomer of the Year in the "Best New Product" category, in the face of competition from eight other nominees.

"We are extremely proud to receive this award from IAAPA, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. They have checked out all the new attractions in the world, and now selected The Crane as the Best New Product. It's even more gratifying to win this prize after such a fantastic season – when our guests have shown such appreciation for our amusement parks," says Jan Roy, President of Parks & Resorts Scandinavia.
