Only for Parksmania.it, we publish some of the artworks, photos of the model and of the works of the new area in Aqualandia, Jesolo: "Port Hemingway". The property of the park, in a multi-year enlargement project, decided the realization of a new entrance, like a "Main Street", that till now was a feature of "dry" theme parks. The aim of Aqualandia is to become in the furture a "water theme park", thanks to the variety of its offer of amusement and services.

The project, created and realized by Ozlab Funfactory, consists in a very scenographic square, which recreates the atmosphere and the architecture of Key-West, the town in the south of Florida, known thanks to the writer Ernest Hemingway (who during his life knew and loved Venice and its lagoon). That area will include the new entrance, a big souvenir shop, a snack stand with "fish and chips", a photo point, a bar, a new area with showers and lockers (also this area will be themed) and not for the public but very important for the organisation of the park, more offices and stores.

It is the biggest investment in scenography and architecture in the park history, another step in the enlargement project that will be developped in the future years. The works are in progress and the completion is expected on April, 2010
