Ho, ho, ho…Europa-Park starts its “magical Winter Weeks” with big Santa Claus Gathering.
10,128 Santas in Germany’s biggest theme park.
New record for the start of the winter season 2006/07: 10,128 Santas of all ages came to the 5th Santa Claus Gathering and transformed Germany’s biggest theme park into a huge red and white winter wonderland. This year’s fantastic response to the Santa Claus Gathering resulted in the most successful start of the winter season ever. On December 2nd, all visitors who were dressed in a red Santa suit, Santa hat and a big white beard had free admission to Europa-Park and could spend a fantastic day with many attractions, fantastic winter shows and a winterly decorated park. Santas on the high-speed coaster Euro-Mir… Santas on the large ice-skating rink… Santas in the Circus-Revue… - on the first day of Europa-Park’s winter season 2006/07 Santas were all over the park! All in all, 10,128 Santas came to Germany’s biggest theme park and so last year’s record was more than doubled! After the big gathering of Santas in the English themed area at 11.00 am, they all had plenty of fun on numerous rides and winter attractions, in the beautiful winter shows and on the festive Christmas market. Europa-Park was covered in red and a wonderful Christmas ambience was spread over Germany’s biggest theme park all day long.
Until January 7th, Europa-Park offers the “magical Winter Weeks” with thousands of sparkling fairy-lights, 2,000 colourfully decorated fir trees, great rides, fantastic winter attractions, a festive Christmas market and a fascinating show-programme. On December 15th, the first non-stop flight from Nottingham is going to touch down at Black Forest Airport in Lahr, taking visitors from the UK directly to Germany’s biggest theme park. Packages including return flight from Nottingham, transfer to Europa-Park, a 2-day pass for Germany’s biggest theme park and one night in one of Europa-Park’s three themed 4-star hotels can be booked with Leger Holidays (phone: +44 (0)845 402 0360) or DERTOUR UK (phone: +44 (0)870 403 5442).
