Disclosed the names of the European Amusement Parks, which will be awarded with the Parksmania Awards 2019. The Awards will be delivered during the Award Ceremony on Friday, the 18th of October, 2019, at 6.30 p.m. at LeoArena in Leolandia (Bergamo). The admission is free and open to spectators.

Every year the Jury, composed by members of the editorial staff of Parksmania.it, awards the amusement parks which have distinguished themselves during the season with important news and quality in the offer to their guests. Here below the list of the winners:
European Park of the Year 2019:
EUROPA PARK
The incessant passion and commitment of the Mack family brought also in 2019 new and various projects in one of the most representative Resort in the world. Starting from the amazing new Hotel Krønasår, to the rebuilding of the Scandinavian area with the new family dark ride Snorri Touren, up to the new indoor Waterpark Rulantica, that is going to be opened in November, Europa Park reinforces even more its already notable amusement and welcoming offer.
LINNANMAKI - Taiga
Manufactured by the Swiss industry Intamin, Taiga represents the current most important investment for the Finnish park Linnanmäki: the new rollercoaster features two thrilling launches LSM, a top hat and four inversions. The layout and design were elaborate and complex due to the particular form of the ground and the presence of many surrounding buildings and attractions.
PUY DU FOU - Le Premier Royaume
Inspired by a crucial period of France’s history this immersive walk-through features magnificent settings and unique special effects, invented and created by the Puy du Fou team. During 20 minutes guests can experience all the adventures and military achievements of Clovis, king of the Franks, through 14 different and suggestive settings.
WALIBI HOLLAND - Untamed
Umpteenth invention from the American industry Rocky Mountain Construction, the hybrid rollercoaster Untamed turns out to be the transformation of an old attraction and it features the classic and original elements typical of this kind of rollercoaster: 5 unique inversions, which challenge every physics laws, and 14 air-time moments along an over 1000 mt ride with a top speed of 92 km/h.
PORT AVENTURA - Street Mission
Street Mission is an interactive dark ride produced in collaboration with Sally Corporation and its theme – first in Europe – features the characters from the cartoon “Sesame Street”. This park’s first dark ride involved an investment of 15 million Euros and it is situated in the “SésamoAventura” region. This attraction is meant to be for families thanks to its 3D world with funny gag and coloured animatronics.
DISNEYLAND PARIS - The Lion King and Jungle Festival
The new and colourful “The Lion King and Jungle Festival” gives a unique occasion to celebrate in a joyful way two unforgettable classics of Disney animation: the unmissable features of this new event are the two great and original shows, excellent in quality, both for technical aspects and for artistic and emotional point of view. from the beginning they have been extremely involving and appreciated by the audience.
WALIBI BELGIUM - Popcorn Revenge
Popcorn Revenge is an interactive dark ride, realized together with Alterface, that is in the new themed area of Indian inspiration, Karma World. The Belgian Park is facing a great renovation project that includes this new area which fits in with its sense of humour: the protagonists are popcorn characters, that create chaos in different scenes inspired to famous films.
ENERGYLANDIA - Zadra
In 2019 Energylandia amazes with Zadra, an hybrid rollercoaster of new generation, a mix of wood and steel, manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction, an extremely involving layout, thanks to its 64 meters high, three original inversions and a top speed of 121 km/h.
