Last year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 19th edition of the Event Parksmania Awards could not be held. But this year, the 20th edition of Parksmania Awards registered record numbers: more than 150 participants at the conferences and 350 viewers at the Ceremony. Everything in the respect of all the safety rules.
Movieland Park on Garda Lake (Lazise, Verona - Italy) hosted this edition of the Parksmania Awards, the prestigious recognition that every year the online magazine Parksmania.it assigns to the Italian and European amusement parks that have distinguished themselves during the season for specific initiatives in the amusement field (See on Facebook the Video of the Full Version of 2021 Edition).
The Award is now internationally recognized as one of the most important events in the sector and has seen the participation of representatives of the main parks in Italy and Europe, this year coming from Germany, France, Spain and Belgium, and of leading companies in the entertainment market.
On Thursday, the 14th and Friday, the 15th of October meetings and conferences took pace, they were dedicated to Italian parks managers, focused on topics like F&B, staff training, administration, marketing, customer satisfaction, technical maintenance, innovation and logistics.
On Friday, the 15th of October at 6.30pm there was the Awards Ceremony: during the show it was possible to assist at the performances of the artistic cast of Movieland Park alternated with the awarding for Best Staff, Best New Attraction, Best New Show, and the Award for the Park of the Year. The prizes awarded for the 2020 season have also been given during the Ceremony (see the list at the end of this page).
On Saturday, the 16th of October it was possible for the guests of the event to visit Movieland Park, open for the Halloween season.

The original French theme park dedicated to volcanism presents its first Intamin-produced family launch coaster. His name, Namazu, originates from Japanese mythology, according to which the earthquakes were caused by a large underground dragon and this will be the opportunity for an adventure full of surprises and moments of suspense
WALIBI BELGIUM - Kondaa
With its 15 moments of airtime, a record for a steel coaster, 1,200 metres of track, 50 metres in height, original elements, some of which totally unique and an imposing setting of the loading station, this new attraction represents the culmination of a grandiose investment of over 100 million euros total for the Belgian theme park
PLOPSALAND DE PANNE - The Ride to Happiness
The first "Extreme Spinning Coaster" in Europe arises from the collaboration of the Belgian theme park with the famous Tomorrowland Music Festival. With an investment of 15 million euros, the coaster produced by MACK Rides includes two launches and 5 inversions. The creative joint venture between the park and the festival also exclusively produced the attraction's soundtrack and all the sets
MOVIE PARK GERMANY - Movie Park Studio Tour
For its 25th anniversary, the German movie theme park presents a family coaster that is unique in Europe and totally dedicated to the world of cinema. The “Multi Dimension” rollercoaster produced by Intamin, runs through 12 different sets along over 500 metres of track and includes two launches, one of which backwards
NIGLOLAND - Krampus Expedition
With its 9,000 square metres of surface, Krampus Expedition represents the greatest ride ever built in the French park. A water coaster produced by MACK Rides which extends over 600 metres of path, which culminates with a descent from 28 metres high and which tells the legend of the Krampus, mysterious and disturbing alpine creatures

The new night show by Puy du Fou represents the umpteenth testimony of the infinite creative and artistic capacity of the French park: the story takes up themes and characters from the previous "Les Orgues de Feu", combining water and fire with music and poetry in a 7,000 square metres set.
